Translation for Tourism

All types of tourism-related texts, from hotel-chain websites to brochures promoting French regions – plus a number of travel guides. 

Some years ago, I took on a six-month salaried assignment with a translation agency specialising in tourism (I prefer the freelance life, but still work with this agency occasionally). This gave me lots of experience in translating for the tourism industry – everything from travel-company and hotel-chain websites to glossy brochures promoting various French regions. And that's in addition to several travel guides and other travel-related books for a number of publishers, in France, the UK and the US.
